Languages are an integral part of our lives. To celebrate our diverse language, the following events were held.
Marathi Bhasha Diwas, or Marathi Language Day, celebrated on 27 February was a day to honor the life and work of Marathi poet, playwright, novelist, and humanist Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar, also known by his pen name, Kusumagraj.World English Day also known as United Nations English Language Day, was celebrated on April 23rd. Presentations were made on English language as a tool for communication, diplomacy, and cultural exchange.
World Hindi Day on 10 Jan 2024 commemorated the first World Hindi Conference held in Nagpur, Maharashtra in January 1975. It aimed to promote Hindi as a means of communication and cultural expression beyond India's borders.
National Hindi Day celebrated on 14 Sept 2023 recognised Hindi as a connecting force that unites the diverse cultures of India.
International Mother Language Day was observed on 22 Feb 2024 to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and to promote multilingualism.

Marathi Day Celebrations 27 Feb 2019
The birth anniversary of Poet Kusumagraj was celebrated as Marathi Day on 27 Feb 2019. Shri Shankar Bali, an accomplished poet and author and a proud alumnus of our college shared his journey as a writer. He recited some of his poems and narrated a story giving the audience a glimpse of reality through the lens of literature. Later students had a poetry recitation session . Dr Helen Jadhav co ordinated the entire programme. An exhibition of posters on Marathi literature day added to the beauty of the programme and gave insights to the rich treasures of our literature.
Hindi Day Celebrations
हिन्दी दिवस प्रत्येक वर्ष 14 सितम्बर को मनाया जाता है।
14 सितंबर 1949 को संविधान सभा ने एक मत से यह निर्णय लिया कि हिन्दी ही भारत की राजभाषा होगी। इसी महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय के महत्व को प्रतिपादित करने तथा हिन्दी को हर क्षेत्र में प्रसारित करने के लिये राष्ट्रभाषा प्रचार समिति, वर्धा के अनुरोध पर वर्ष 1953 से पूरे भारत में 14 सितंबर को प्रतिवर्ष हिन्दी-दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है।
